Dave Barry Quits; Al-Manac Now Sole Source for Immature Satire
Miami - "Humor" columnist Dave Barry has written his last column, and has passed the torch of immature satire to The Al-Manac publisher T.G. Bretzky.
Faster than he could utter "now what thee hell," Bretzky acknowledged Barry as the biggest influence in his award-winning publishing career.
The Al-Manac, first published in 1986, has been known to copy Barry's work extensively.
