Packers Solidify Last Place
Minneapolis - Former Bear Paul Edinger kicked a 56-yard field goal as time ran out in the game as the Minnesota Vikings defeated Green Bay 23-20. The Packers fell to 1-5 and solidified their last-place standing.
Meanwhile, the Chicago Bears retained first place by defeating the Baltimore Ravens 10-6 on Sunday. The Ravens had the second-best defense in the NFL going into that game.
The Vikings were considered the worst team in the NFL prior to Sunday.
Yesterday, President Bush nominated Ben Bernanke to fix the Packers problems.
